Review on Ultralight Hitorhike Backpack Camping Sleeping Pad - Inflatable Air Mattress, Insulated For Travel, Hiking, Scouts & Backpacking (Green) by Adam Huper

Durable, lightweight, compact, comfortable sleep pad

I bought this sleep pad originally to use when camping, and I also do a lot of hiking and kayaking so I was looking for something compact and easy to pack and carry. This sleep pad fills the bill! It arrived neatly and tightly rolled up, nicely compressed into a small drawstring bag, very lightweight and compact— takes up no room at all in a backpack! It’s made of a durable nylon material, and unrolled smoothly. Even though it’s a nice big size, it inflated very quickly and easily. I was really surprised how comfy the pad was to lay on once inflated, and I also really loved the support the pillow gave! Mine didn’t make it to camping season though before getting maximum use— it’s quickly become the newest sensation in my house for my grandkids when they come for sleepovers! They love the camo design and drifting off to sleep on the cozy, cushy pad in front of a movie! I noticed it doesn’t lose any air overnight, even with two kids sleeping on it at the same time—and the kids playing, sleeping, even wrestling on it proves it’s great durability! I love this pad so much I plan on getting a few more by camping season!

Pros
  • Better than sleeping on the ground.
Cons
  • Noisy, Sounds like sleeping on a stack of newspaper. Also the storage bag came poorly sewn at the seams.
