As of 6/3/19, the cheapest MOPAR drive on eBay is $188. This universal drive was literally half the price - $90. Factory operator manufactured by Siemens and stamped. The space for a stamp on this universal unit is simply empty. As far as I know, this device is mass-produced in China. Anyway, the device works as intended. The exchange took about 10 minutes and can be carried out with the gearbox still on the truck. Please note: DTCs caused by a failed actuator must be cleared using a professional scan tool; The consumer scan tool will not remove them. This is important to know as the ECM will not provide a 5V signal to activate the actuator until the codes are cleared. This means you CANNOT run the 30 second calibration routine to activate the drive until the codes are cleared. I had a transshop that cleared codes and calibrated for $52. The overall cost was still cheaper than the MOPAR drive alone.
