Bought for a 9 year old niece. She loved him, but he was too small. She is petite, she is 9 years old and can still wear a size 7-8. I ordered size 10 (she is 3 months old) but it was too small and too tight! It didn't even reach her buttocks and her thighs and legs were covered in leather. It was difficult for her to move in it. I would buy at least two sizes larger than your child is wearing so you don't have to take them back and buy them again.
