I love the howling wolf design idea. The symbolism used is confusing.

Should have come with a leather necklace. It's not like this. It arrived with a very cheap chain which was immediately thrown away and replaced. If you don't look closely at the design, the only thing you can really see in the design is the crescent moon. Details of the wolf are largely lost. It almost takes a magnifying glass to spot Celtic knots. I ordered a howling wolf pendant before realizing that it combined Celtic knots in the design. The Celtic Irish knot is part of Irish lore. As far as I know, the wolf howling at the moon was never a Celtic symbol. However, it is a Native American symbol. Although the wolf is now extinct in Ireland, it was once a revered symbol of Irish Celtic lore. I'm not sure if the wolf howling at the moon is a cultural appropriation for use in art or a long lost symbol also used in Celtic lore. As a work of art, I love their creative combination. It honors two parts of my own intricate genetic code. As a symbol of Native American or Celtic culture, I think it confuses the sign, mixes and confuses symbols. I have mixed opinions about bringing two characters together. So whether it suits you or not depends on whether or not you like mixing two cultures in one pendant. To me, this distracts from the beauty and sheer symbolism used in every culture. Since my previous ancestors spent a lot of their lives plotting and plotting to kill each other, I'm happy to share their beliefs and cultures. Decoration or artwork is decent. As I delve into the symbolism, I start to worry. I'll let you judge this necklace for yourself. My opinion is pretty neutral.
