Review on 🚰 GROHE 46312SD0 RealSteel Pull Out Spray: Find High-Quality Faucet Accessory Here by Brad Phifer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Expensive piece of plastic.

I ordered this faucet to replace a broken one on an old Ladylux faucet I had in my kitchen when I bought the house. I wasn't sure whether to go with this one or the seemingly identical 46298KH0. I emailed Grohe to check and they replied that I should order the last one but I was too late already ordering from Amazon. Their support email stated that an o-ring is included, which many believe is required to replace the old o-ring to prevent leakage. Well, the box I got from Amazon didn't have an o-ring or any instructions. You don't need instructions, it's pretty much unscrewing the old and screwing on the new. On the other hand it was installed in 10 seconds and apparently my old o-ring is still holding up well as there doesn't seem to be a leak. I'll clarify this later in case it turns out that's not the case. On the other hand, nearly 100 shells are prohibitively expensive for this simple plastic faucet. Should cost a maximum of €30. But at least it's a lot cheaper than ordering directly from Grohe, which costs 100 shells more! Crazy.ps There was a small white "sieve" in the box that I didn't use. I thought it might be a water flow restriction, but it could also be some kind of "filter". If anyone knows, please let us know.
