Review on AGPTEK Player Recorder Playback Expandable by Matt Simpsons

My old Volvo 850 radio has everything: CD player/cassette player/stereo AM/FM radio but it doesn't play .mp3 files. I was looking for a replacement radio and needed to find a cage mounting kit to fit a more modern dual din head unit. I had no luck finding a frame mounting kit that was an exact fit for the Volvo unit. I would have to bypass the built in Volvo stereo amplifier with dedicated power for the radio and a speaker connection which is a problem as this Volvo has two dashboard speakers, two front door speakers and two rear speakers this can have a detrimental effect on the sound . the rear speakers are connected in series or in parallel with four other speakers due to the change in impedance. I have here two perfectly good modern two din head units with all the bells and whistles that are currently unused. The head unit is from Pioneer and Sony, and both would fit perfectly in this car were it not for the complexity of their installation. I went back to the drawing board, many years ago on some old car stereos with audio CD players that not only could play .mp3 files, I solved this problem with a cassette adapter and a small .mp3 player and I solved that here . I bought an Agptek A02S 16GB player and an Agptek 128GB micro SD card from Revain. It was difficult for me to record music on it because of the small booklet cap that came with the device. I downloaded the extended version of the user manual from the web and that didn't help much either, but I finally figured it out and downloaded a huge amount of music and installed it all on a micro SD card. The device works great and plays through my car radio with cassette adapter. One caveat: I had a folder with 1750 choices, didn't like that huge file and gave me a system error when trying to play that folder. No problem, you just have to work around this problem by splitting this huge folder into three smaller folders and that will solve the problem. Agptek A02S easily reproduces folders with more than six hundred individual items in one folder. The sound quality and playback of this small MP3 player is excellent and I highly recommend it and am very happy with it.
