Tips do not meet at ends
Pointed tweezers failed to capture foreign objects when removing fragments from skin. When viewed under a magnifying glass, the tips of these tweezers weren't touching at the ends - they were offset slightly so they converged far from the tip. The wide-tipped tweezers, angled and straight, seemed to connect more precisely on the ends, but I prefer using pointed tweezers for splinters and they didn't work well.
