Review on Xiaomi MIIIW Gaming Mouse Pad (MWGP01) black by Ada Stasiak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful quality, one hundred percent satisfied!

The rug has a couple of the drawbacks mentioned. But at the moment I went through all the plain (without a pattern) rugs with a plastic surface and a height of up to 2.5 mm. This one turned out to be the most convenient among them and allows you to work with different mice, while the rest are suitable only for some of them. I have tried five different mice (only LED, not laser) and with each of them the mat works either very well or perfectly.

Pros
  • Excellent mouse glide. Large surface, does not hinder the freedom of work with the mouse. Rigid, which ensures very uniform mouse movement. The movement of the mouse becomes audible only when it is very actively moving. During normal operation, moving the mouse with a hand or fingers, without sweeping hand movements, moving the mouse is silent. Although this of course depends on the quality of the legs of the mouse. Simple design, looks strict and practical, does not distract. With the appropriate design of the workplace, this is important. Easy to clean. Can be wiped with wet wipes or washed surface. I use the rug for a short time, but the ability to survive such cleanings for a long time is beyond doubt - this is not a fabric, but a durable plastic. Slightly rough. At first I did not like it, after using the fabric mat it seems that the hand is less comfortable. But now it seems even an advantage. The mouse glides much more easily than cloth mats, and the roughness of the mouse pad allows for better hand control.
Cons
  • With prolonged use, for several hours of work, it may move slightly on the table. That is, the grip is not perfect. The reason is that the base is not made in the form of a uniform coating with soft rubber and small ribs, as on other mats, but in the form of a harder rubber and round depressions in it. Because of this, the total bonding area is smaller. But it saves the weight of the rug - it is quite weighty and therefore, if it moves, it does not move much. Slightly tall, it seems that the same qualities and grip with the table could be achieved by making a rug with a height of less than 2 mm (this rug has a height of 2.35 mm). But I have not yet found the best alternatives among rugs of comparable height.
