To be honest I would only give these three stars for what they are. It's almost impossible to find inline skates for big feet, let alone affordable ones. They are true to size, maybe a bit big (means US sizes). I'm a 17 and I'm glad I can cruise around town and never have to put my feet in rental 14s again. They seem to be of acceptable quality. The wheels look good and feel good after a bit of riding. Note that the ankle straps are designed to allow the ankle to flex in the correct direction (i.e. forward), but they aren't very stiff in that direction, so I doubt they're good for tricks. As an amateur skater a few times a year they suit my needs perfectly and are much more convenient than what I'm used to renting.
