I am a female with an almost straight lower body, my hips are only a few inches larger than my waist I've tried many cuts, styles, sizes and brands of jeans/pants but they always slide down when I walk or even sit These beautiful braided ones elastic straps along with high waisted pants are the only thing that ever worked They have regular buckles and look great with a tucked in shirt unlike many I've seen which have a cheap flat metal or plastic buckle They are oversized: I ended up leaving them two sizes smaller than the first size I ordered. I recommend measuring where you want the belt to fit (hip or waist) and ordering a size that is 2 or 3 inches larger than this measurement and stretch well. They appear to be of good quality. All belt buckles are silver. They have a decent range of colors but I wish they would add something else: various shades of brown and grey, and most notably burgundy which is a staple in my wardrobe and which I couldn't find anywhere else. I bought a belt in all the solid colors offered because I like wearing colored jeans. I ordered pink and purple from another seller. I think they are great for men too, they are quite wide, at least 2 inches. My only complaint is that the size and color are not listed on the outside of the box (everything is in Chinese). All of the 20 or so I ordered arrived around the same time so for my return I had to open and measure each strap and put a size and color sticker on it so I didn't send the wrong ones back. Highly recommended; Now I can walk hands-free because I no longer have to hold my pants with one or both hands!
