I wanted a tuff backpack. Most of the backpacks I buy from most stores are barely the last year. My kids always end up destroying the zipper, it's a drawstring so zippers don't need to be destroyed. So far so good, looks like the job is done. Time will tell if it will last a few years. I have some panda spots to seed to make it more age appropriate. She is in first grade and pandas are her favorite animals. And I had to shorten the adjustable shoulder straps because they dragged on the ground when carrying the backpack. This is a quick fix, you just have to reseed the end so they don't wear out. It's cotton, you can't just burn it like nylon.
