Review on Meerkatt Piranha Surface Trailer Resistant by Kyle Wesener

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Be careful where to go.

These lights really either need a hole behind the wiring, or I think I will use a 3/4 piece, machined, cut appropriately and make a hole in the wood.. I don't want to drill a 1/2-3/4" hole in my trailer right where the deck goes, hence the wood disc You will need at least 3/16" of clearance to thread the wires through. The product photos do not show how the wires protrude backwards when rotated down. These are not the most durable jigs you can find, but the price makes up for it makes the replacement less painful.I'm considering using two intensity levels, one as a low beam and a bright one with turn signals.Responding to another poster about light guides.Full LED taillight is about the same when broken.

Pros
  • Easy Installation: It has 3 wires with polarity: black - negative / red - positive, low brightness / white - positive, high brightness, and the screws are attached on the package. Dimensions: 7.5"(L) x 3.3"(W) x 1.0"(H).
Cons
  • not reliable
