Review on Beaded Double Dutch Jump Ropes - BuyJumpRopes Pair of 14ft Ropes by Eduardo Purewal

These jump ropes have 4" of bare rope on each of them. The seller claims that those gaps are necessary for good rotation and flexibility. Actually only 1/2 inch on each end is necessary. Four inches is absolutely too much: it make rotation difficult. I bought 7 jump ropes of different lengths from different places in the last 2 weeks. Good quality jump ropes have no more than an inch of rope without beads. Only one cheap lousy rope had 4" gap without beads at the end. If i saw these in a store i would not have bought them. On the positive note, the extra rope can be easily cut off, of course the rope will be that many inches shorter. Someone saved a couple of beads on each rope here.
