Main conclusion: I like the device. a lot of. Getting to this point was a fun challenge. I may make changes to this mini review in the future as I recall more experiences. The installation video was - for me - insufficient (okay, I'm "old"). The manual that came with the device is almost impossible to read without a scanning electron microscope, but the support staff can provide you with a printable PDF that's actually readable. I absolutely needed her. The properly connected rear camera works well with excellent resolution and even has its own LED light to illuminate the area. (NOTE: Connection wires at the end of the camera: red -> car reverse wire, black -> car chassis ground). At the end of the wiring for the radio, an additional yellow or blue wire that is part of the video wire bundle connects to Rev In. Be sure to connect the video jack to the UPPER LEFT input on the receiver. Bluetooth is reliable and easy to connect to your phone. I primarily wanted to use mine to play my own music in the car, but those who use the phone as a PHONE may appreciate and appreciate the other features. When making a call, the radio switches to the car radio very quickly, but using the radio microphone was not intuitive for me. YMMV.USB is great, but coughs on non-audio files. However, after a short complaint, it quickly jumps to a valid mp3. The steering wheel control cables are connected to Key1 + Key2 +, but this depends on your vehicle's unique configuration. I have a 30 year old Mitsubishi car with two wires, some have one wire, some have analog and some have digital. Somehow this radio recognizes what type you are plugging in and works accordingly. At least that was the case in my case. In the radio settings at the bottom left is a small steering wheel icon that opens the settings menu. The instructions there are almost self-explanatory, but "SWC" are the controls on the steering wheel. Press and hold one, then you will be prompted to press the action icon on the screen. It was very difficult for me, but it's probably just about my own competence. Radio reception is good on strong stations, but my unit has static from the left speakers when tuned to a weak station (regardless of whether the car's ignition is on). Make sure you go to settings and set which 'space' is yours. US 1 or US 2. I haven't found an explanation of what is what and what this setting affects.
