The LOVTEX full body pillow is supplied compressed in a bag with a carrying handle. After the pillow is removed from the packaging, it must be tapped and shaken to evenly distribute and break up the sponge filling. The pillow should not be used for 24 hours so that it fluffs up. I waited about 36 hours to use it. Unfortunately the photo is wrong. He is not beautiful, fluffy and full. On the flat side and does not provide a firm grip. He doesn't provide any real support. Soft pillowcase included. I didn't notice the smell. I was hoping to use this to help with the back pain I'm experiencing. I was also hoping it would help the always bothersome and worsening restless legs syndrome at night. Unfortunately, the pillow didn't help either due to the flatness and lack of support. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this body pillow.
