If you haven't cut the AUX cord, you are missing out. These devices are game changers.This the 4th one I have owned and my favorite so far. Here's why.- the AUX jack does not come out. All of the others have been bi-directional, meaning you could have a male to male wire. While this is great in theory, this is on my boat, and I wanted something that kept a good connection to the BT receiver.- it is small and therefor doesn't hang down like the others I have owned. This is great when you you have other connections or a screen below the AUX connection.I can't speak to the BT 30" range as I am always within that distance on the boat.
