We tried it out in the bath so I would have space to prop and hold my books, kindle and iPhone out of the water while we soak and relax in the bath. I haven't used it for this yet, but it can also store groceries, snacks and drinks while you relax and enjoy your bath. Currently in use. Another great thing is that it can be adjusted to fit a narrow or wide tub. It is a pleasant, convenient and useful addition to relaxing in the bathroom. Only thing related to this is that my husband was stabbed in multiple places and had a splinter ripped out of his hand and I was also stabbed and almost got a splinter in my hand. We also like and are satisfied with the bathtub shelf.
