I have a strange use case, I'm using it on the HDMI 2.0 output port of a TESmart HKS0401A2U kvm switch to connect to the display port of an old 4K monitor 4K@60Hz . It works with the Mac Pro cheese grater and trash can that I use. The only thing is that sometimes the signal twitches when switching inputs, but I think that's more of a problem with the switch. I have another one of these switches that behaves strangely without an adapter or anything. In any case, cycling through the inputs or flipping the switch on and off seems to work. If it works in this use case, I would expect it to work well in normal scenarios. At the time of purchase, it was the cheapest adapter of its kind, and the name said 4K 60Hz, making no secret that elsewhere on the site it would only output 30Hz. I'm very happy with it as I was able to put off buying a new monitor to get 60Hz.
