I have been using henna to color my hair for over 20 years. I prefer not to use chemicals as they are harmful to skin and hair. The only problem I have with henna is that my scalp is very itchy after washing it. So I keep trying different brands to make sure it doesn't irritate my skin. I first tried this coffee and egg henna and my scalp was still itchy. I then added cottage cheese and almond butter to the henna paste and it was much better and not too itchy. With oil the henna color is a bit light but I take it anytime than scratching my head. I have short hair and this pack is enough for 4-5 uses. Next time I will also add Indian gooseberry powder for a darker color. Overall this is a good quality henna and is safe to use on hands or hair.
