When you think of LED lighting, you usually think of longevity. You'll hear terms like "100,000 hour lifespan." Unfortunately, that's not the case with these LED lights, and the worst thing is that you can't replace individual bulbs that have failed. They are rigidly fixed and glued into the sockets. So you can imagine my disappointment when I only turn on these lights for the SECOND season and LEDs are already randomly failing. I'm an amateur electrical engineer so I took one apart to check if it's a continuity issue or not. The semiconductor crystal in these flashlights simply fails after less than 3 months of overnight operation. As said, this could make a big difference if you could fit a new LED in the faulty spot, but you can't unless you use a "spare part" chain that you cut the bulbs out of and solder on the chain you want to repair. And of course you'll need a hot air station to shrink the soldered wires. I will no longer use this brand. Not until they make the LEDs so you can easily replace them if they fail.
