I've never used an Apple Pen so I can't compare it to the original, but I think it works well. I just bought a new Apple iPad Air and it works great with it. I haven't used the pen for long note-taking since the summer holidays, but I've had my iPad for about 2 weeks and I've only charged the pen once and it's still alive and well. I really recommend it for those who don't want to spend more money than necessary! Works great!
