Bought these for my 10 year old daughter. I have had several pairs of Gold Toe socks and had no problems. Unfortunately they don't hold up as well as the others I've bought. I recently had to throw out a few pairs because the heels of my socks were already fraying. She seems to have a problem, but cheaper socks seem to last longer. =
