Excellent socks seem to hold up so far - about 10 washes, no problems so far. I highly recommend it and have tried many different socks. Update 7 Nov '19 - These socks are in very good condition. I've had them for about 30 washes and have actually ordered more just to throw away all my other socks - I hope they don't change anything about these socks - because I don't think they do. Socks don't get any better, I love the style, the comfort, the durability and the fact that they stay in place. I didn't mention it either, but the XXL fits my foot size 43 - I found that many of the socks that are supposed to fit this shoe size are too small. i never wear shoes indoors with tiled floors and 3 flights of stairs and i wear socks 24/7 most of the time i even do quick tours down my brick street in socks sometimes - i wouldn't do the last act but i still rock with no holes in 14 pairs . 26 Dec 20. Now they're starting to wear out - some socks have holes at the bottom where the pads of the fingers meet. As mentioned, I'm very strict with my socks, wear them basically ALL the time on all types of surfaces, and I'm fairly active, taking over 10,000 steps most days, so I think 16 months is pretty decent I'm not downsizing my review but I'm a little disappointed they didn't last longer.
