This is my second hammock purchase. But the first one was from someone else. They were about the same price but this one came with the tree straps. Which I had to pay an additional $15 for to have with my other hammock. So For starters, I saved $15 on this hammock than I ended up paying for the other hammock. Also, with my other hammock the straps don't fit in the carry bag so I have to have two bags. One for the hammock and another for the straps. With this hammock everything fits together. I have used both hammocks and this hammock seems better made than my other one. I did find similar hammock/strap prices with other companies as this hammock when I was shopping around for my second hammock. But this one really stuck out for the high quality straps. The stitching and carabiners are so much better on this one. So ultimately that's why I purchased this one and am very happy I did.
