Review on Robotime 📚 Miniature Birthday Dollhouse Library by Glen Needham

When I bought this unit I knew it was going to last a long time. I knew there would be lots of little pieces and glue everywhere and that this project would be done in stages because there were little pieces and glue everywhere. The best way for me to double check would be a pros and cons list, hoping that it will be easier for other buyers to decide if this project is right for them. Pros: 1) Once you have all the components together, you're done. very cute and reminds me of my dollhouse when i was younger. 2) The sheets they give you to identify what parts which furniture is made of are very helpful. Cons 1) All parts are scattered in the pockets they give you, forcing you to look in all pockets (and there are several). 2) There are no instructions, and they are written more for those who have done some of this before, rather than for the first time. Because of this, I feel like some steps are missed or not completed, which leads me to believe people will just figure it out. 3) Quite a few wooden parts were bent and difficult to glue. Because of this, they don't lie flat and some of the finished products lie unevenly. 4) All the images used for books are also distributed on each page. The images are also very close together and difficult to crop. 5) I did not receive 2 batteries for the light. I've reached the final step before assembly and can't finish. These batteries are lithium and cannot be kept on hand like AA batteries. Now I have to wait to get out and spend more money (going out is restricted due to the pandemic). 6) Making a chair is the worst! While there are significantly more cons than pros, I look forward to finishing this. Like I said, this is more for people who have experience with these kits, so if you don't, just be patient and go step by step. I hope to update this once I can finish the lighting component.
