Great soft jogging pants. Inside very smooth. Decent quality materials and tailoring. My child wears a 4T so I bought the 5T to be on the safe side but found it too big for her. Went down to 4T and everything fits except for the waist. My daughter has a decent tummy I think but it's still 2-3 inches bigger. I have another spare elastic that costs twice as much as the pants but I like the material but it doesn't fit the waist. I'd say that's the typical thickness you would expect for this price range. I would probably use this for a school where my child would only be exposed to a maximum temperature of 50 degrees for a few minutes and would be thin enough not to sweat all day at school. The pockets aren't that deep, maybe 3 inches, and really more for decoration than anything practical.
