Initial feel and quality seems good. Not as thick as some of the other comforters I have in this style. We'll see how it holds up after washing. I also received this blanket in green and LOVE it. All in all, this is a decent throw that will just sit in the living room while my Christmas decorations are done. The only thing that worries me. it's more of a berry color than red. It's not the same piece of furniture as this pillow, so it will match what I need, but for the record, you can see it's not red. You can see it even better than in the photo. The green looks like real forest green (in the photo it looks like it has a teal cast but it isn't). I put it next to some green velvet pillowcases I just ordered and the match is pretty good. I read a lot of reviews before I buy anything, so I hope this will be helpful to the next person.
