If you are looking for a long lasting, well designed, well thought out BRIGHT LED safety torch then this is for you. durable and can become a chemical mess in the trunk, but I always carried them with me in case of emergencies. I have now replaced them with something better and more secure and will save the beacons until July 4th. With magnets you can attach Marcala LED lights to your vehicle to lift them high off the ground, which is a great advantage over flashlights. I'm not sure you really need the nine alternate light flash patterns, but if you want lights that flash Morse code SOS, they will do, plus the more traditional red or yellow flash on/off and a bright white flashlight. They come with pre-installed batteries and 3 extras. The battery compartment is well sealed, so they'll likely work even if you throw them in a puddle. After all, it's nice to support a small American family business. I will immediately order another set for my other car!
