This is good quality leather. Beware of "genuine leather" as it is just leather on another fabric. Now I'm just looking for quality leather or full grain leather. This belt is a one piece solid leather belt. This has to go on for years. The metal fittings make a pretty solid impression. I bought the black one, but now I'll probably order the brown one too.
