The tarpaulin material feels nice and is a good weight. The buckle of the belt, although made of relatively thin metal, holds up well and doesn't let the belt loosen, so there are no particular complaints. The belt is easy to trim to your waist. I recommend finishing the cut end to keep it from fraying. I only ran the flame around the edge for a few seconds to melt the fibers and they didn't fall apart. I ordered dark gray but it has a much more bluish tint. It's more of a dark blue shade of gray than a black shade of grey, but nothing that keeps me awake. And oddly enough the belt buckle I received is not the polished silver nickel as advertised but more of a brushed gray metal. I was annoyed at first, but this is actually probably the best color combination. If this belt wears out or breaks, the price is so low and the quality is good for the price, I will definitely order another one. In fact, the webbing itself appears to be very durable. It's a closure I'm not sure about.
