It was great especially when something got on the floor or clothes which of course I did as I am a beginner. The fact that it's washable is what made me want to try it in the first place and I wasn't disappointed. I would also recommend buying a heater. Reheating in the microwave was a real problem as it cools surprisingly quickly. For beginners, I would recommend starting with your feet. When I finished I felt like a pro and wasn't nervous about trying out my more sensitive parts. I saw in one of the other reviews that it didn't work, but I'll tell you something since it wasn't in the instructions. You MUST leave it on for a second or two after placing paper on it to allow it to cool down a bit and get rid of the hair easily and completely. Also, be sure to press down firmly on the paper after applying the wax so you have a good bond between the paper, wax, and hair. Can't recommend this product enough, especially when you can't take all the hair we're stuck on thanks to the crown. Much luck!
