Looks good and does the job, but be careful with the monitor mount.

I am very satisfied with the AVLT-Power Premium aluminum monitor mount and laptop mount. You have to be careful not to run into the same problem as me. I have a 32" LG monitor, but it doesn't have the 75x75mm or 100x100mm mounting holes on the back that the monitor supports. To solve this problem I bought a VESA adapter plate to support my monitor. I took one and it solved the problem. Now I don't know if it's because the monitor is so wide and I'm using an adapter plate, but I have a little problem with the hinge being able to support the weight of the monitor. The monitor weighs 14.6 pounds. and it says it will carry up to 17 pounds. I had to tighten it up a bit. I found that the nut turned instead of tightening as I tightened the swivel to hold it in the desired position. There is very little clearance between the metal and the nut on the pivot, but I was able to save needlenose pliers to keep the nut from turning while I tightened it with the Allen wrench provided. Problem solved but I would have thought that when positioning, the nut would be welded to the metal frame. This may not be an issue if you have a lighter or smaller monitor.
