Review on Gillette Venus Mini Extra Smooth Razors for Women: Compact, Convenient, and Travel-Ready! by Quas Santiago

Like a woman's double-edged razor, cartridges usually make me frown. Unfortunately I can't take my precious razors with me on flights (I carry them with me most of the time) so I was looking for a compact cartridge for such situations. Taking toiletries with you when flying helps. This is a regular razor with a cartridge in a hard plastic case. The case looks large at first glance, but it is quite thin and takes up about as much space in your pocket as a bar of soap. I've had no issues taking it as a carry-on and have had no issues with TSA security on two flights so far. I didn't find the compact handle difficult to use and completely forgot how fast a cartridge shave can be when I can move quickly across my body. It works great with my frou frou shaving creams, although the blade does seem to clog up a bit with thicker creams like (Geo F. Trumper Coconut Cream). This requires other Venus heads to replace when the razor becomes dull. I will keep a small pack of spare cartridges in my closet in case I take this item with me. But like all cartridges it takes multiple passes, I get a lot of irritation (sensitive skin) and the blade dulls very quickly. However, for most people, this article would easily be worth 5 stars. Not ideal for special snowflakes, tender butt skin pain like me, but perfect for travel. Especially on short trips, so that my skin is not so badly affected. So, Venus, come on, why so much pink? Compact size and simplicity are no joke.
