Good product bad battery

I use my Blue Tooth stereo headphones for two purposes: making calls and listening to audio. phone calls. The microphone works perfectly. It doesn't have noise-cancelling like the AirPods, but you can buy five of them for the price of a pair of Apple's latest Profit Extenders. The volume is good, the earcups fit my ear canals well, they're comfortable, and the buttons do what they're supposed to. A bug that may be in a setting I can't find: My iPhone answers calls over the phone. I have to manually select the headphones. The battery level is even shown on the main screen of my iPhone. Well done! So far this is a four star review, excellent for the price, with just one minor hiccup. Audio. I listen to a lot of audio books while driving and at work. I sometimes listen to music, but mostly on a real stereo. The sound comes through properly. The voices are crisp and clear, the music is very good. For the price, the sound isn't bad, although not close to my Shure SE215 headphones. So far, so good. But the battery life only spoils its usefulness. I put them on, start listening to an audio book, and after about 3.5 hours the headphones emit a low battery warning tone. In addition to poor battery life, iPhone battery drains much faster than usual. Within 15 minutes of the alarm I need to take out my wired headphones to continue listening, so why not just use wired headphones to start with? I give 1 star for the sound. Since I use my phone a lot more for audio than as a phone, this product deserves two stars for its little utility.
