First of all I didn't need this product to completely reupholster my blinds. I suspect that the previous owner repeatedly played around with the part of the cord (maybe added decorative handles) that needs to be pulled to raise the blinds because the cord was 2-3 sections long and the top was only about 3 inches long. I bought this product to attach a cord to the bottom as the handle was out of my reach when the blinds were closed. goes in the hole easily. It continued to wear out. It was 100% annoying! I finally got a tool to put the cord in the hole and then used tweezers to reach and grab it. Then I realized that the original cable and the new cable did not work well together. The knot kept slipping regardless of what type of knot I used. I ended up attaching a blind with a longer cord, but there are two more blinds to do. I'm not looking forward to that at all.
