We grew up around garden pots (which are now illegal and no longer available to buy) and decided to try this set to see if it would make a good substitute. While it was fun, it wasn't the same. Darts tend to bounce a bit when they hit the ground. The weighted bottom ensures they land correctly almost every time. However, the handlebars on them seem weak, so I'm not sure how long it will be before one of them breaks. We also felt that the spacing in the instructions was too small (but we just played by our own rules and pushed them further). We also just had fun throwing them as far as possible to see who could throw the furthest and who could throw their two darts so they landed closest together. The plastic rings need to be bent to fit in there. It took me quite a long time to leave them in the sun to iron out the creases when we first received the set so I won't be putting the rings back in my bag (darts only). All in all this is a fun game. the whole family can enjoy.
