I wanted something small and easy to use that I could load my meditations onto and keep by my bed or in my purse. I'm not a techie. I lose my patience with unclear directions. I hate being connected to the internet when I just want to listen to a short track. I hate when my phone rings or buzzes in the middle of something. I can't take my CD player with me. LAUGH OUT LOUD. I just wanted to have everything I hear in one place. I figured out how it works and it's easy enough so far. I was able to transfer downloads to it within minutes of reading the instructions. figured out how to create a playlist or categorize everything I've downloaded. I don't use Bluetooth so I don't know anything about this feature. I don't like how the navigation buttons work. It's a touchscreen, and when both it and the room are dark, it takes a little while to work. You can't feel the button you want. But it's not so bad that it becomes unusable. Another issue I have is that the device is pretty small (not a problem) and the raised buttons on the side (power, sound, lock and whatever, I don't know what it does yet) get in the way , if I take it in hand. I make things happen by just picking it up when it works. Haven't broken anything yet. Basically satisfied. He does what I wanted. It makes my life easier. He came with EVERYTHING he needed and was ready to go.
