Very heavy (40 lbs) so requires a solid floor for installation. The metal, the screws, the hardware, the motor all seem extremely durable. The assembly is quite easy, although the instructions could be a bit clearer. With a little manual skill you can find out. After assembly, it is very cool! Easy installation for the TV and it works exactly as advertised. Maybe a little slow up and down. but I'm not sure if moving a 55+ TV up and down 40 inches doesn't make much sense. The remote works perfectly, but we'll see how it holds up over time. I wish the manual switch had more mounting options. "You need 40 inches of free space in the TV cabinet at the height of the TV. This height requirement may vary depending on the mounting screws/holes on the back of the TV. But take the height of the TV, add 10-12 inches and you have the approximate clearance needed for the inside of the cabinet. You will need to mount the TV on a jack stand and then measure to be sure.
