Review on 🎒 Securflap Laptop Backpack by DELSEY Paris by Robert Bridgewater

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Spacious, structured backpack for travel and commuting (5 stars)

Best known for their hard-walled, durable suitcases, Delsey has expanded its range of backpacks. While roomy, small and ideal for commuting or carry-on luggage, this 15 inch laptop backpack can hold essentials such as a laptop, documents, headphones, books, etc. Wide, padded shoulder straps and soft pressure points on the back make it comfortable even when fully loaded. And all your belongings are safe thanks to various security measures that work even when you carry it fully on your back. The outside of the backpack has only two zipped compartments , both on the sides and both not particularly deep My only criticism of this backpack is the size of these two pockets: my portable umbrella doesn't fit all the way in, and the sports bottle doesn't fit in due to its height. Luckily these items are more likely to be won than stolen so I can zip up the top so they stick out. Under the top flap is an RFID protected pocket that is slightly larger than passport size. In the main compartment you will find another small pocket; padded donut kit for laptops up to 15 inches; smaller padded pocket (fits my iPad); and the rest of the interior is open. Because the interior opens up when the flap is opened, small items can fall out if they aren't down. I like it though because the way it opens allows for easy access to all the contents. The safety features are the most innovative features by squeezing the top and bottom towards the middle. No one, not even those who know this trick, cannot gain access without my knowledge because it requires effort and two hands. Of course, this also means that it *takes me* an extra second or two to board. Even when the valve is open - for example to reach the RFID-protected pocket under the top flap - the main compartment remains closed with a magnetic flap. This second flap slides open easily, but it provides extra privacy and security when accessing your passport or whatever you keep in your RFID-protected pocket. The backpack is well made and durable. It has a structure that does not allow it to be packed/stored flat; However, this structure also makes the backpack look cooler than most. The "navy blue" (actually more of a navy blue) and black look is gender neutral. – Debbie Lee Wesselman.
