Item purchased on 08/08/20 This is one of those times I've regretted the purchase based on reviews rather than research. Reviews of this steamer represent this product as a 5 star steamer, although the quality of its work is average (between 2-3 stars). After reading the reviews I can only wonder if I bought the same product which is highly recommended here! First, this steamer is meant to be portable, but it's bulky and ridiculously heavy (without water); I would not recommend it for the elderly or those with arthritis in the hand/arm. That thing is big and heavy! Also, the water tank is very small (doesn't even hold a full cup - from the tiny measuring cup provided); So for stubborn clothes, you'll need to keep filling this steamer (water doesn't add weight to this already heavy steamer. That's a plus). Vapor output is average (not great, but not bad either - again, it's not a 5-star product and could easily be substituted for a half-price vaporizer at any retail outlet in town). It took me about 10 minutes to steam a light, almost see-through shirt (see attached image); which I would have expected to cook in less time based on the excellent reviews for this product. I used this steamer for the first time tonight and to be honest I'm far from impressed, I don't think the quality of the product justifies its price, size or weight; But I'll definitely give it a few more tries before making my final decision on whether to keep it or return it. It has a nice design, but this thing is HEAVY! UPDATE - Returns begin 06/09/20 1 star steamer not working as advertised on website. That does not work. I just spent 20 minutes ironing out a light champion caper this steamship just got! The pants ended up in the dryer for another 5 minutes. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!
