I thought I'd buy a pair of quick charge lamps with three brightness levels that touch the base. These lamps do not have three levels of brightness. You have one, but it's bright enough to read. You have two switches, one on a wire and one wire on the lamp. This does not change the brightness. I assumed the second switch was to keep the charging base on when the lamp is off. Not correct! My phone died early in the morning after being plugged in all night (I use it to play white noise while I sleep). The charging station only works when the lamp is switched on. Useless. If you just want a straight lamp that's fine, but none of the other features work at all. Cheap Chinese junk.
