As long as we are happy with our scratching post

As long as we are happy with our scratching post. When we come home we usually find that one of our cats is sleeping on the roof of the house/box and the other cat is on the next level. Although the cats are young, they are not little kittens (they currently weigh about 8 pounds and are growing), and they are incredibly ugly when they jump up the levels (that says more about our cats than the tower, since our cats do this can't seem to jump). be able to jump onto the bed without pulling up the last few inches). You can jump on it, but sometimes climb yarn-wrapped poles to reach level 3. I'm sure this exercise will eventually break the brown cover on level 3 as they dig in to get over the edge, but so far so good. My guess is that if a cat doesn't have jumping genes then it needs to climb, so I'm glad it's designed to "climb like a tree" too. The second level does not go far beyond the third. So when cats jump, they have to jump from level 1 to level 3. I don't think this is a design flaw as it drops more weight so the turret isn't too heavy at the top while still stabilizing the turrets. Jumping from level 1 to level 3 doesn't look outrageous, even our cats *can* do it, they just sometimes miss and end up hanging by their front claws. We pressed ours against the wall and had no stability issues. Update: The second highest platform is loose and cannot be tightened. The cats don't mind and they ride him while he rocks under their weight, but that worries us a little. It may need to be removed. Update - 7 months later: The second tallest tower collapsed today.
