Review on Grain Free Small Breed Dry Dog Food with Natural Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food – Instinct Raw Boost, High Protein Kibble by Rachel Mitchell

I chose this food for my Papillon Chihuahua mix after a terrible experience with another dog and big brand pellets. He was a Chihuahua and had a serious kidney stone which they believed was caused by bad food. This eventually led to surgery, a blood clot, and his death. To clarify, we fed him high quality food but it turned out to be full of fillers and such so now I'm incredibly careful about what I feed my pup. I am chronically ill so I don't always have the opportunity to cook their food myself which would be ideal. Instead, I rely on these pellets and this brand of frozen raw food products. She has maintained a healthy weight, has lots of energy and a healthy coat and last but not least she LOVES the freeze dried pieces in this food. Our cat (who eats this cat food) even likes to steal some freeze dried dog food nuggets when she gets the chance. :)
