Charges normally (quite quickly) but sometimes has problems with the plug falling or pulling out of the hole. Perhaps due to the heaviness of the electrics, the box is in the middle of the cable. I've learned to deal with it, so it's okay. When I first got it I had to physically hold it or prop it up with a pillow or something. But I did learn how to adjust it so it doesn't fall out (to make sure the box couldn't tug on the top cord...so a longer cord would have been useful. It was a good price). , and it does its job, but I advise you to double-check to make sure it's actually charging, because nobody wants to wait for it to charge, which it isn't. Everything else is alright. It is made in China and I think it would be better to pay more and buy made in USA. But I can't find this USA made model number. One company is an American company that made them in Taiwan (I think that's correct). I am only adding this information about China because many want to switch to American production. But it's almost impossible to find. I keep telling myself to only buy American made (whatever) but so much is made in China. Anyway, I'm not going down that rabbit trail. Once you get the first problem I found this to be a good enough charger.
