It blocks a good amount of ambient noise. In my opinion, the device is also very easy to set up, so it definitely feels quite comfortable. The metallic color is great but be aware that it is very easy to scratch. I would say if you can easily wipe down the leather upholstery just use a dry towel as you don't want it to get wet and dry. Also, remove the earbuds and adjust them so that your hair doesn't snag or pull. It is very easy to install on any head with adjustment. The microphone is also adjustable and you can mute the microphone directly on the headphones. The microphone has no windscreen, so you can hear the surrounding noise.
