Canon creates an incredibly durable product. Maybe don't hit him on the ground like in soccer and you'll probably be fine. I upgraded from a regular T7 (yes, US version) and have no regrets. The auto focus and another 39 focus points help you take pictures if you are not a professional photographer. A small kit is more than enough to get you started and ensure high quality. UV filter to fine-tune images (replaceable, not top quality). A card reader is sufficient if you don't already have an adapter. The memory card isn't great, but I upgraded to a SanDisk Extreme for $30 more. Lens cleaner can also be anything, you can also just use a microfiber cloth for it. Maybe just take out the suitcase and you're done. I found a very nice $30 backpack here on Amazon that fits the entire set plus the external Rode mic I bought on the side. I still have room for 1-2 more lenses that I plan to buy later. Recommend this option over the base model.
