ANT Stick DOA - Pedometer

The bracelet itself works perfectly. However, the supplied USB ANT stick did not work. I had to use the one I had with my 310xt to sync it. The problem is that you have to sync with Garmin Connect to fully use the bracelet. Without them, you don't have full functionality. Once I synced it, it works. I like that the time on the clock is shown on one line instead of two. You have 1 button to switch modes and sync and pair. It is simple and looks very elegant and clean. It's not bulky at all. And you will get 2 strips. Just make sure you place the loop on the right side, otherwise it will fall off and you could lose it. The way she snaps is amazing. Simple and convenient. I can confirm that it has a clock function. However, this only works after synchronization and initial setup. You also need a working ANT USB stick for this. Without them, you won't get the clock function. There is no instruction manual included. To do this, you need to go to the Garmin website. After completing the initial sync after downloading and installing Garmin Express. If you have WinXP, Garmin Express will not install. And you won't be able to do the setup. The inactivity monitor works great. The red bar at the top gets bigger when sitting. All target settings are made via Garmin Connect. And then sync with Vivofit. Steps reset at midnight. It has 2 watch batteries that can be swapped out instead of the built-in lithium-ion battery. Which I think is great for the intended purpose. I gave it to a friend who is an elderly male and does a lot of walking but needed a watch. They suit him perfectly. Luckily I was able to customize them. But out of the box I would not have been able to do that because of a defective ANT stick.
