Excellent hiking socks! They are so comfortable and make a huge difference on a long day hike. I'm very sensitive to wool, but these socks don't irritate. In fact, I never would have guessed that this compound was the reason, apart from of course the exceptional way in which they wick moisture from my feet. The best way I can describe the comfort is the photos I posted. Turn these socks inside out and you'll appreciate and understand the extra cushioning where you need it. The sole, heel and toe area are equipped with a very thick layer of loops, which ensure better foot comfort at pressure points. They also stretch well and wash well.
