For the price, this is a very good combination of case and keyboard. PROS: The plastic frame inside the case feels solid and holds the Fire HD 10 securely. The keyboard is amazingly tactile and comfortable to type on, and that comes from those who use mechanical keyboards. The outer surface is textured, provides a non-slip grip and is free from obvious surface defects. The entire inner surface is a soft, smooth surface that can be described as "microfiber". The case's inner grooves, which hold the tablet at different viewing angles, work well when the case is placed on a flat, stable surface. They do not hold the tablet at an angle when the case is on your lap or other unstable surface (not intended). The sound seems to lose some of its fundamental when the tablet is placed in the grooves. It appears to be a stereo as each speaker produces a different sound. CONS - Admittedly minor: I wish the case width was a bit wider to better protect the (short) sides of the tablet when the case is closed. I want the keyboard to fit in the case when closed. LOVELY, but probably not much: no one would confuse the material of the outer shell with leather or faux leather (whatever that means) as stated in the product description. Photos of exterior surface in ad are correct. "Precise cutouts" for controls means all short sides of the case are exposed. All controls located on the sides are accessible. GENERAL: Nice solid case with above average keyboard. There is no problem connecting/connecting the tablet to Wi-Fi and the keyboard connects and stays connected to the tablet. If I REALLY wanted a leather case, I would return it, but keeping my tablet closed, secure, protected, yet accessible is my number one priority, and this case fulfills those priorities well.
