Nothing heavy about it! I used it for my boat trailer. The boat weighs about 1000 pounds. I don't know how, but he missed a gear when I pulled the boat to the rubber stop on the bow. (The boat is still in the water) The next time she has completely gnawed a tooth in the main gear and won't go anymore. Only used about 6 times. I have not abused or reworked this crank. The return window is already closed. I would not recommend this product for use on your boat as advertised. Cheap pot metal. Not good.
